South Carolina couple killed in St. Maarten
PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten (AP) -- A couple from
South Carolina has been killed in the Dutch Caribbean country of St.
Maarten, police said Friday.
The bodies of
Michael and Thelma King were found Friday in their beachfront
condominium, according to police spokesman Ricardo Henson.
Chief
Prosecutor Hans Mos said both Americans appeared to have fatal stab
wounds and the woman was tied to a chair in the home in the Ocean Club
Resort in Cupecoy. He said police were interviewing possible witnesses.
