Painkillers, Antibiotics, Hormones . . . What Else Is In a Single Glass of Milk?

Painkillers, Antibiotics, Hormones . . . In Our Milk? YES!

Did you know that the U.S. is the only industrialized country to allow hormones to be given to cows whom we get our milk supply?  To date, I've been informing people, including my daughter who has a young son, to refrain from drinking whole milk.  The sad part about this article and other articles that were published reporting the same disturbing news is that cheese, yogurt, and other dairy products may be also affected with these hormones.  In addition, there have been numerous published media reports from parents and medical personnel about an increase in hormonal growth in childrens' breasts, and other parts of their body, that are unexplainable, but the finger pointing is aimed at the hormones and other substances that are infiltrating our milk supply these youngsters are consuming.

Are we at the point today that it's best to own land to grow our own fruits, vegetables, cows, goats, etc., to ensure our health is not in jeopardy?  Frankly speaking, I believe we have reached that point decades ago!

Hormones in milk can be dangerous

One study compared diet and cancer rates in 42 counties. It showed that milk and cheese consumption are strongly correlated to the incidence of testicular cancer among men ages 20 to 39. Rates were highest in places like Switzerland and Denmark, where cheese is a national food, and lowest in Algeria and other countries where dairy is not so widely consumed.

Cancer rates linked to dairy can change quickly, said Ganmaa. In the past 50 years in Japan, she said, rising rates of dairy consumption are linked with rising death rates from prostate cancer - from near zero per 100,000 five decades ago to 7 per 100,000 today.

Butter, meat, eggs, milk, and cheese are implicated in higher rates of hormone-dependent cancers in general, she said. Breast cancer has been linked particularly to consumption of milk and cheese.

Educational Preparedness Is Key in the 21st Century!

Minister Farrakhan challenges educators at 3-day conference in Chicago

“If a curriculum does not prepare a student for life itself, then it is a worthless curriculum,” said Minister Farrakhan during his August 6 keynote address wrapping up the Nation of Islam's 4th Annual Educational Conference themed: “Developing A Nation of Readers.”

Minister Farrakhan said the Western world's educational system was designed to place educators under the control of the society's elite rulers making their student's unfit to become masters of their own destinies creating perpetual servants and slaves.

“He never educated you to be a ruler! He educated you to be ruled and to love it!” said the Minister. “You are a dreamer but not bringing dreams into reality. You live in a dream world, you live in a world of illusion that's why you go to sleep at night tormented because you never have achieved your dreams!”

Creating a supreme curriculum, supreme educators for students

He challenged teachers and educators to enact God-centered solutions in an educational system that has “flatlined” and failed to cultivate and educate Black children to achieve their inherent greatness. “We have to challenge this educational system or get out of it,” said Min. Farrakhan.

Conference organizers wanted to provide practical ways to improve teachers, administrators and schools based on techniques and curriculum that properly prepare students for life.

“Whether it be the study technology or whether it be promoting literacy, the Minister wants us to get out into the community and help eliminate illiteracy in our community, we're just making it practical and hands-on,” said Dr. Larry Muhammad.

Publisher's Note:

It is good to know that I am not alone in this assessment.  Perhaps the great teachings I'd received from my dad growing up in Bronx, N.Y. prepared me for such truths.  I hope that you, the readers, will take this article in a good spirit.  It is not about religion.  It is not about whether your faith-based is Christianity, or if you are a Muslim, or not.  It's not about whether you are a Jehovah Witness, or a Buddhist.

We - ALL OF US - must understand what is needed to educate our child[ren] with the understanding that it is their future - it is our legacy that must be preserved academically, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

We Need "Thinkers" and "Rulers!" Not 'puppets' and 'mimickers!'
