Sources told TMZ that Sage Stallone's father -- who had been at San Diego Comic Con promoting his upcoming film, "Expendables 2" -- "is a wreck."

Sylvester Stallone's 36-year-old son was found dead in a Los Angeles home after an apparent overdose on pills, sources told TMZ.com.

Police are investigating whether Sage Stallone's death was intentional or accidental.

Sources told the gossip site that Sylvester Stallone -- who had been at San Diego Comic-Con promoting his upcoming film, "Expendables 2" -- "is a wreck."

Sage's mother, Sasha Czack, has also reportedly been told of her son's passing.

Obama campaign worker, 29, dies at Chicago headquarters

A 29-year-old campaign operative working on President Obama's re-election effort died today after falling ill at campaign headquarters in Chicago, according to the Obama campaign.

President Obama called the family of Alex Okrent earlier today to offer his condolences and also spoke by phone with staff in Chicago about Okrent's death.

Obama was campaigning in southern Virginia this afternoon, when he learned about Okrent's death.

During this election cycle, Okrent worked in the campaign's paid media department. He worked as a deputy field director in Cleveland for Obama's 2008 campaign, He also worked on Obama's 2004 senate campaign.

Tributes to Okrent began pouring in on Twitter on Friday evening, including some from Okrent's colleagues on the Obama campaign.

"We will miss you, Alex. you left a beautiful legacy. We will never forget your spirit or your passion. Rest in peace, brother," wrote Jeremy Bird, Obama's National Field Director.

Obama's GOP rival Mitt Romney also offered his condolences.

What is a Heart Attack?

A heart attack is when the arteries supplying the heart get blocked up. Even though the heart is full of blood at all times, and pumps a hundred-thousand times each day, it doesn’t get any of the blood it needs from the inside.
