Balfour guilty of murdering Jennifer Hudson’s family
William Balfour was convicted Friday — the day after
his 31st birthday — of murdering the mother, brother and nephew of
superstar Jennifer Hudson.
Cook County jurors announced guilty verdicts after hours of deliberation over three days.
Jennifer Hudson had her head down when the verdict was
announced. She then talked to her fiance, David Otunga, who put his arm
around her. She then began to get emotional.
Balfour had no reaction. His family, however, began tearing up after the verdicts.
