Rowland Alston to retire from ETV show in June

Rowland Alston, who has hosted the “Making it Grow!” gardening show on ETV for 18 years, will retire in June.

Alston, whose sage advice has helped generations of Southern gardeners, will host his final show June 26.

Amanda McNulty, a frequent co-host on the show (and gardening columnist for The State), will take over hosting duties full-time.
