Amber Alert for Girl Missing After Two Found Dead
A man and woman were found dead Saturday inside a home in Little Rock, while a girl who lived with the couple is missing, police said.
Police got a call around 3:15 p.m. Saturday from a man who attended the same church as the slain couple and had found the woman just inside the home’s doorway, police Sgt. Cassandra Davis said.Officers investigated and found that woman and the dead man, who was further inside the residence. Both of the deceased were in their 60s, according to Davis.
Authorities have not released the names of the couple, nor have they indicated how they died.
But Davis, from the Little Rock police, said that a girl who lived with the pair is missing.
The girl, 12-year-old Amber Whitlow, is either the daughter or granddaughter of the deceased couple, according to the police sergeant.
Police have issued an Amber Alert for Amber, a black girl with a brown ponytail who was last seen wearing knee-length blue jean shorts and a light blue short-sleeve shirt.
The alert describes the “circumstances” for the bulletin as “abduction from a possible homicide.”
Antonio Whitlow, 33, is listed as an “associated adult” in the alert. He is described as a black male with short black hair and standing 6 feet, 3 inches tall.
Davis said Antonio Whitlow is Amber’s brother and that police consider him a suspect in the case.
The girl may be traveling in a four-door, black over blue Lincoln model car from the 1990s that has a chrome luggage rack and chrome trim around the doors and on the wheels, the alert states.
