Fishing expedition leaves South Carolina teen dead after heavy storm sinks boat 

Robert Northern Daniels died just two days shy of his 20th birthday.

One person is dead and five others had to be rescued after a storm caused their boat to sink in Lake Moultrie in Berkeley County, South Carolina.

A day of fishing turned deadly in South Carolina when heavy waves from a storm crashed onto a boat carrying six passengers, leaving one person dead.

Robert Northen Daniels of Ladson, S.C., drowned after a strong thunderstorm filled the 22-foot pontoon-type deck boat with water in Lake Moultrie Sunday afternoon, WCSC-TV reported.

The 19-year-old would have celebrated his 20th birthday on Aug. 21.
