Honor Student Shot Dead In Bed During Home Invasion

“Lots of young people, sitting in cars,” says neighbor Tyrone Patterson. “That’s unusual for this neighborhood. It’s always been quiet. We need to be vigilant to make sure everyone is safe.”
Here are a few details behind the the events that lead to Stanley’s death, according to Fox News 5:
On Tuesday, detectives went to the family’s home for a trouble call. They aren’t releasing a lot of details about it, but sources say they are actively trying to determine if there is any connection to Stanley’s slaying. Investigators say a gunman kicked in the front door at the home just after 10 p.m. Wednesday, climbed the stairs and shot her multiple times in her bed.

Disgruntled worker Jeffrey Johnson designed women's accessories, cops said. He wore a grey suit as he sprayed bullets along 34th St. and Fifth Ave. — near the iconic Midtown skyscraper — and was carrying an extra magazine of ammunition in a briefcase.
