Genetic Clue Discovered For Why Women Outlive Men

London Olympics: What to watch for on Sunday

There are seemingly thousands of Olympic events each day. Here's what to watch for on Sunday:

TRACK AND FIELD
This is the day that the world’s fastest man is crowned and, of course, all eyes are on defending champion Usain Bolt of Jamaica. He won his first round heat easing up as he neared the finish line. There should be plenty of competition from the likes of Justin GatlinTyson Gay and Ryan Bailey, who had the fastest qualifying time. They run both the semifinals and finals Sunday.

TENNIS
In a rematch of the Wimbledon final, Roger Federer and Andy Murray will be playing for Olympic gold. Federer won at Wimbledon, but each has won eight in the 16 times they’ve played each other. Federer struggled in his semifinal match against Martin del Potro. Murray beat Novak Djokovic to reach the final. It’s a hot ticket in London, and the crowd will be behind Murray.
BOXING
A new sport will be introduced on Sunday as women’s boxing becomes an Olympic event for the first time. There are three weight classifications and only 12 boxers in each group, so getting to a medal match will be easier than on the men’s side. Queen Underwood will be the first U.S. woman to box as she faces Natasha Jonas from Britain.
