Serena Williams Wins Fifth Wimbledon Singles Title

Two years after blood clots left her hospitalized and fighting for her life, Serena Williams has won her fifth singles title at Wimbledon. She capped off her remarkable comeback by defeating Poland‘s Agniezska Radwanska 6-1, 5-7, 6-2. “I can’t even describe it,” Williams said while fighting back tears during the presentation ceremony. “I almost didn’t make it a few years ago. I was in hospital, but I’m here again and it was worth it. I’m so happy.”
By raising the Venus Rosewater dish for a fifth time, Williams matches her sister’s record of five Wimbledon singles titles. “I’ve always wanted everything that Venus had,” she said. “Thank you for all of the advice you gave me during the rain delay. I had to copy you again.”

Home Builders Are 40% Overvalued
FBN SecuritiesWe believe the home builders have risen substantially above fair value with several home builders being 40% overvalued in our view. Many impediments will affect the home builders going forward (significantly higher-than-average vacancy rates, legacy land positions with subpar gross margins, competitive land market in attractive locations, rising labor/material costs, potential new home-builder entities with stronger balance sheets, trajectory of mortgage rates).
We are downgrading Toll Brothers (ticker: TOL), Meritage Homes (MTH), Hovnanian Enterprises (HOV) and Beazer Homes USA (BZH) to Underperform from Sector Perform.
Six of the 13 home builders under coverage are now rated Underperform with the remaining seven home builders carrying a Sector Perform rating.
The first-quarter housing vacancy rate of 13.93% remains significantly above the 11.15% 47-year mean (equates to 3.686 million excess vacancies). Although the vacancy rate has retracted from the 14.61% high registered in first-quarter 2009, the previous high in the last cycle was the third-quarter 1989 (11.81% equating to only 875,000 excess vacancies population adjusted). A majority of home builders have four to 12 years of controlled land based on expected 2012 closings.
